writing about my obsession.

People can be obsessed with a lot of things, like famous people, collecting things, and some people are also obsessed with food, but in my case a sport. I love this sport, it is called karate.
I have 4 years in this discipline and its like another world because when I practice it, I forget everything in the outside, all my problems are gone for an hour or more.
my big dream is to be black belt and I want to go to JAPAN so badly. This sport is considered a discipline because you have to be very respectful with the ones that are highest belt than you.
I also know that there are not too many girls practicing it, but it doesnt matter if you are a girl or a bot, you can practice this and you will love it.
Karate needs a lot of dedication to try to do the best you can in it, I go to karate everyday and I dont even get bored.
this sport is a cycle. why? because when you begin you have a white belt and you go through the other colors until you get to the black one. when you have a lot of time in this belt this starts to become white again. thats the end of the cycle.  and this is comparated to our real life, when we were babies we doesnt knew how to eat or talk or even walk. and then we start to grow up and learn a lot of new things, but when you are old you start to walk slowly and your family have to help you like when you were a baby.
some people go to black belt and get out of karate, thats a huge mistake, there are said like this "a black belt is a white belt who never gave up" and another "if you think you know everything about karate you're wrong because the black belt is the beginning of learning"
to finish, I love this sport because it's a whole new world and if you investigate it you will realize that you never stop learning about it.
some anecdots with my sport are the championships, they are so funny, im with all my friends and inside this sport, we are like a big family and we enjoy so much our time together because we met everyday. when we are participating in a championship and someone loses the others support you and try to make you feel better.

the best times I spent are with them, and we go to dinner in restaurants and laugh out loud with all the things that happened to us in the day, we also have inside jokes!

writing about obsessions.

first of all, what is an obsession? for me is something that you like so much and you cant stop thinking about, it can be some ideas or thoughts about a particular thing. there are different obsessions, they can be bad or good.
the scientific definition of obsession: Compulsive preoccupation with a fixed idea or an unwanted feeling or emotion, often accompanied by symptoms of anxiety.
some types of obsessions: those people who wash everything: because they dont like dirty things and they hate pollution. and there are the others who wash their hands till they bleed
the collectors:  people who like to collect things and they have big collections of stuff that are useless.
the perfectionists: people who have to have everything in a perfect order, they dont like their stuff to be in a wrong place and they try to do everything as perfect as they can. some time later this obsesion starts to be irritating.
checkers: people who check their properties again and again to have everything under their control
obsessed with food: people who eat and eat because they love to. and the other kind is the ones that do an strict diet.
obsessed with physical image: those who want to have a perfect body and do crazy things to have it, like consume steroids and stop eating to look perfect.

you may ask yourself, who can go under obsessions? I think everyone can go under bad obsessions or good too, for example, people who love to smoke and have to do it because if they dont they feel like they're dying. or maybe people who love tatoos and have them all around their bodies. everyone can have an obsession, we only have to take care of ourselves to dont get in a bad one.

My reflections!

well, as you may know, im my school we are doing a fair, where we had to choose a product to make experiments and learn how to make them, in my case my group and I selected "bread", this was a very nice experience because we never thought the bread had so many parts and ways to do it. we had a great time making bread and the experiments, we learned a lot of new things and last monday we had an exposition about this explaining the results of our experiments, we took many photos, also we went to a bakery to know the process of it!
the troubles we had while we were working in this fair was the other evaluations of the school that made us busy, and some of us cannot get together to work in the report or experiments. but we could made everything the best we can! :D
by the way, our fair is called "Panadeiro's" haha :)<3
